About Skardu Valley

We will also visit Skardu Valley in our Fairy Meadows Skardu Trip. Skardu Valley is one of the most beautiful valleys in Gilgit Baltistan. The valley is famous for its serene beauty and Balti people. It is surrounded by the majestic mountains of Karakoram & Himalayas. Deosai National Park (also known as Deosai Plains) is one of the best places to visit in Skardu Tour, it’s world’s second highest plateau in the world after Tibet in China, known for it’s green plains and beautiful lakes.  A newly constructed Baltistan Highway (also known as Jaglot Skardu Road) is linked with famous Karakoram Highway which connects Pakistan and China via the Khunjarab Pass. Skardu is famous for its serene lakes, dramatic landscapes, rich history, and fresh fruits. The valley is famous for its picturesque landscapes and Deosai National Park which is second highest plateau in the world after Tibet in China.

Detailed Travel Itinerary of Fairy Meadows Skardu Tour

Day 1: Friday
Board Bus/Train from Karachi and start your trip
Green Line Train departure time 10:00 pm
Sleeper Bus departure time 6:00 pm or 9:00 pm

Day 2: Saturday
By air package, members will board the flight and reach Islamabad same day
Check-in Islamabad hotel 1:00 pm onwards (via self indrive/careem ride)
Note: Islamabad hotel stays not available for members without Islamabad hotel stays
Dinner and stay in Islamabad Hotel
– Centrally located good family hotels throughout the trip

Day 3: Sunday
03:30 am Islamabad members reporting time
Departure for Chilas 4:30 am sharp
Drive via Hazara Motorway & Naran Road
Breakfast stop at Kewai Waterfall or Balakot
Photography stop at Lulusar Lake
Photography stop at Babusar Top
Reach Chilas by evening
Dinner and night stay in Chilas / or Jaglot

Day 4: Monday
7:30 am Breakfast, check-out, and departure for Raikot
Board 4×4 Jeeps to Fairy Meadows from Raikot Bridge
2-hour Adventurous jeep ride to Tatto village
Group formation at Tattu village, prepare for the trek
11 pm Start trek to Fairy Meadows (3-4 hrs average trekking time)
(You may opt for a horse ride and porter service at additional cost)
4:00 pm Reach Fairy Meadows, observe the beauty
Welcome tea will be served, and settle in camps
Dinner and bonfire night under billion stars
Night camping at Fairy Meadows (most prime location)
(Hut accommodation available at additional cost)

Day 5: Tuesday
8:00 am Breakfast, enjoy the vibes
Trek to Beyal Camp & Nanga Parbat View Point (2-3 hrs one way, easy hike through forest & meadows)
(Those not willing to trek can spend a free day and explore the surroundings)
Free time at Beyal Camp and Viewpoint
Back to Fairy Meadows, visit Reflection Lake
Dinner, bonfire, or go stargazing, Good Night 🙂
Night Camping at Fairy Meadows

Day 6: Wednesday
Wake up early, and don’t miss the first light on the massive Nanga Parbat
7:30 am Breakfast, get ready for the return trek
Start return trek to Tattoo village (2 hr only on return)
Board Jeeps, Reach Raikot Bridge, travel to Skardu
Lunch break at Jaglot, arrive Skardu
Visit Shangrila Resort & Upper Kachura Lake
Dinner and night stay in Skardu

Day 7: Thursday
Breakfast, sightseeing places in Skardu
Visit Cold Desert & Shigar Valley
Visit Manthokha Waterfall in Kharmang
Travel back to hotel by evening

Breakfast, day excursion of Deosai Plains
Board 4×4 Prado & travel to Deosai

Not recommended for kids under 4 years. Half package price for 4+ to 7 years with child/folding seats in transport. Maximum 2 children at half price allowed with one family.
